After few mths into the stock market, up and down, i realise tat it takes money to make more money espec in this bull market.. haa, though im not contemplating. Hopefully a chance to see the bear market come where i will unleash the power to grab everythg i can and awaits the daylight after the nite. hopefully haha
Liquidated most of my portfolio (small as compared to guang and simonee) <- they 2 true blue chip companies..haha, now racking my brains and going to courses like technical and fundamental analysis. Knowledge is always power, espec when u know how to appreciate it.
Hoping to get into that diploma for investment, wic gives CFMA 5, 6, 7. not bad la, i think.. even though nuts abt wat 5, 6, 7 is..-_-
My rules
1. Never play contra - unless use profits to play.. haha( shitty HG metal, just few days more, i would hav earn 700 bucks.. i played contra!!!! no power to pick up. -_-" )
2. Always rem to cut loss - but tough le.. very sentimental le..
3. Never ever average down!!!!! my first lesson learned. :P Average up can la, but not down.
4. Buy quality stocks and not cheap stocks.. cheap are cheap for a reason :)
5. FA for good fundamental stocks, and TA for picking up.
6. Always learn how to diversify, cause it hurts when ppl cook the account at the expense of jail. CAO, ACCS? all market darlings and see the end results?
7. Do not buy on tips and rumours. They are not validated, not tat u know of.. tats why its call tips and rumours.. speculation? i also can gif u tips.. but the best is u know how to fish, then u can tell whether my tips is good or not :)
8. And never plunge ur hard earned profit back into ur portfolio for those safety investors. Take out 10k. win 1 k, put bank, 10k fight market, win another 2k , put bank. so the most u lose is 10k in times of market crash and not counting the profits. and u wont lose 10k la even if crash, just rem to cut loss.

Never ever experienced the bear market b4... so cant tell much, wonder if the TA analysis still stands for bear market..
Scary, oil prices up, gold price coming to 1980s high, iran nuclear problem, US deficit ballooning, world cup coming, bird flus - > and market still so strong?? crazy manz. And the IPO craze? my book mentor tells me never go for IPO, cause they dun hav a track record.. yesh their only track record is that best yr their profits is voila then they get listed. However, 100% gain manz!! tats why u got to go where the wind is. but not to be carried away by the typhoon. Think wait until the iran - nuclear issue to settle first b4 i come back :> Me not so greedy ar.. the market is always there ma..wont run away.. my cash will le.. haha.

Eh can i start my nemstar fund? promise returns of 4% per annum based on my talk today wif tiong. amounts starting from 1k above..wahaha.. 10k reaps u of 400 bucks per annum, beter than bank le..beter than cpf le.. ROE 4% <- signifies failure... haha

Know when to say "NO"?

Have u ever wonder tat many a times, u actually said YES when u had wanted to say NO? "yesh, i do tis for u, but deep down, u kept on complaining n lamenting abt the fact tat it shld be no no and no!"
So think wisely b4 engaging urself in such a scenario, isnt it easier to say NO than Yes?
no is a 2-letter word wo.. some ppl appreciate ur deeds while some just took advantage of u gleefully. Is no a sensitive word to use? Nah, it just depicts ur rights and desire to choose.
I was a very nice guy last time, trying to accomodate everybody w/o realising tat i cant afford to sacrifice myself everytime for the expense of others?? definitely it feels gd to help out most of the time, but it sucks when u know tat ppl are just taking advantage of u. tats heinous.. haha
its good to hav frds, but its even worthwhile to hav good frds who care n share.
For some who gif unconditionally n u get to appreciate the efforts , pls do return the favour. Its not always take n take.. sometimes it feels gd when u gif.
Tat brings me to wat gabriel had said, tat his best frd is his wife. Cause she's the only one who gif unconditionally, but tats not frdship, tats love.

Oohh, after reading the article on straits times thursday for the interview on MM Lee, full of admiration, applaud and salutation for him. He's still very shrewd manz.. notice the reporter who gif remarks on the choice of votes for PAP.. his analogy tat if one did not vote for PAP, dire consequences might follow. This is where MM lee comes into picture.. (notice he was a cross examiner in the past) he scrutinize his comments and posed questions awfully crude. Actually sometimes it feels good to take a bus everytime i knock off frm work. Could indulge myself in newspaper, books, and watch the scenery, listen to my music, enjoying the breeze or sleep. haha, everythg frm a slow and comforting perspective. Guess wont be buying car for these few yrs, got 2 wife need to support.. one is legal , one is stock. Ownership of car is definitely good manz, but gotta wait till i strike lottery ba . then i get to choose my 3rd wife :P

Another Day!

First of all, lets toast to the ROM of E3 boss, Rick liew and his soulmate celine dion!
Loving couple, envy of many. Now that they are busy doing their nest up, we await the joyous occasion of the marriage... TA!

And to our dismay, found that Tiong havin problems with his injury report. Shitty, its always those nonchalance people that causes such scenarios.. And in the end, its us who always suffer.
Why do ppl bother when they are not require, and dun bother when they are requireD?

Today was nice manz.. my sino went up! shitty coolz. thks for guang on giving me an updated call, well appreciated even though i knew alrdy :P Hopefully can reach the broker's price target of 1.48.. be luffing all the way to bank.. dun think so soon, but i will be enduring longer.. given my miss on utac..now 0.915, i sold 0.78 damn... fibrechem..now 1.13, i sold 0.88 damn.. wasted profits of close to 2k!!!!! ta ma de.. but nevertheless, dun complain la. its just me dun hav that foresight.. so bo bianz la :)
Hopefully my counterparts in the market will be luffing to the bank.. got money , we all make. haha.. best scenario. Hopefully after attending the TA course, can feedback to ur, on the pro n cons.
Still rem the very first time i step into the market.. tat is oct 05? damn overnight, i lost 40% . one week later.. i lost abt 2.5k. haaa..novice play market... never study die like siao. But it propels me to make trips to the libraries n study. And i actually did cut loss for the 2.5k, without holding the paper loss, hoping for revival. Luckily else till date, i would have lost close to 4k. Thus i use the remnants of the cash to buy more profitable companies and voila , i manage to recoup my loss and sitting on profits now. Definitely a good lesson learnt..burnt a mark manz... Always study b4 entry, and never say die! Hopefully market wont crash la. :P

Reli hav learnt alot this few mths exchanging pointers frm guang, simon n ta-xiong. all heads better than one rite. :) Now i understand why the rich gets richer..
if u have cash close to 10k, its reli possible to invest in the stock market at appropriate opportunities and double your investment. Seen b4 stocks go from 0.30++ to 1.00++ in less than one yr. Imagine u have all tat 10k into tat counter.. u wld hav approx 30k++ now.. 20k less than 1 yr.. where in hell can u reap? But even though as i say.. it comes with risk.
But if life is without risk, aint tat boring? just know how to contain the risk ba ;)

Moral of story

HAa, think got blasted for posing such an irony question..

if doesnt matter u know u live to die, doesnt matter u eat to shit..

I just wished that each and everyone in my family would be happy, that would be the greatest consolation. For each smile would be my greatest paycheck. :)

How many "what if" has one to remember?
what if i had chose that path initially? what if i had not do this in the first place? what if ?
If u still have many "what if" lingering over ur head, i can bet u would many questions but seek no answers.

Why shld we look backwards when we can do nuttin?

If today i would to give u a choice, would u hav known the better of the choices?
