just get in and u will see the live action, price tick keep updating.. like the real thing.. only diff is u got 80k to buy wat u like.. and not to forget , the one wif the highest portfolio at the end of the game, u get real money 6k in cash! very suitable for those who have easy access to pc all day long during work.

but more impt, its free. just get in and hav a feel of owning 80k and buy/sell like great singapore sale. day traders, position traders, scalpers etc.. come frd, let us hav some fun and we can compare our portfolio, at least u hav a chance to know where u went wrong b4 ploughing in hard earned real cash.

guess in-thing now is biodiesel, no wonder tat wilmar keep making new highs within a week.. tats why u see when it started on an uptrend, nuttin can stop it manz.. however.. know when to sell and u wont be tat greatest fool who bought the last wif the highest price.

my take on the FMOC fed rate coming sep 20.
- most impt i guess will be the oil factor.. direct impact on inflation.. point to iran activists on nuclear. if hell break loose.. its gonna be bad.. which i think 70% iran will not cooperate.

for all those who are cash super rich, might take a look at fixed income securities..
since now interest rates are quite high, if u are comfortable, can lock in at a decent yield for several yrs in bonds, rather than deposit in savings or fixed deposits. even though there are promotional fixed d by banks recently.. its only for a short term. and one thg good is bonds are very liquid and those issued by the government... confirm 99.99% wont be defaulted.
if u are more gung-ho, then go for US treasury bonds. higher int rate but subject to forex gain/loss.

good ar, my studies.. open my eyes to a lot of financial stuff.. somemore i just got my surrogate employer NTUC to reimburse my studies fees.. hehe.. my appeal successful manz - u never see how sad i wrote in to appeal, they must be touched... haha!

Our future Singapore!

Our 41st nation birthday had just ended.
Some fellow just mentioned to me that every celebration seems so routine.. parachutes coming in, performances as usual, and finale of fireworks..
Well, perhaps in reality life still have to carry on, tats why the reason for his remarks.
Wats the future for our nation? for the people?
i believe our nation will still be prosperous as ever, with the new inclusion of IR in the coming future.. however, i keep feeling that in the near future, they will be a disparate aggregate of rich and poor.
The rich will be damn filthy rich, and the poor so damn filthy poor..?
Ever talk to people from the lower income group, u will probably know what i meant..
maybe tats why there are still supporters for the opposition parties.

Just recently i was talking to the cab driver.. he just mentioned to me tat he was on 18HR shift.. damn..18 hrs??? 18 hrs theoreatically for 365 days.. tats how it goes. In other words.. NO LIFE.
And to add that luck plays an impt part in determining whether 18hrs a day will be a futile one.
Nowadays its not how hard u work tat guarantees ur success in life.. tats the analogy in industrial revolution.. now, its how smart u can reap the greatest benefits in the shortest timeframe.
U dont reap wat u sow, u reap wat u can gather? be it ethically or not?

Late marriages, less kids, = future imbalance society.. why? productivity will drop, healthcare will up etc... older generation supported from just a smaller population of younger generation.
Cos not necessary ur child will cater to ur life when u grow old. tats the crude fact of life.
U can take heed from the fact that ur parents has lotsa siblings and yet many still shunned away from the responsibilites for their parents. So wat lies in future when u are the only one who's the sole responsible for ur parents? The bad will only become worse.
Take some time off for a complete family.. the whole world is not just only about u. u need 2 dots on top of the u to make it smile :)

Anwell - my first lesson in SGX

Anwell... this name rings thousands of bells in my head.. and i remember so vividly tat how it taught me to plan b4 jumping into the war since.
I bought it at 0.26 tat fateful morning.. and when market closes.. it issued a profit warning.
Ignorantly, i tot it was some good news, to my dismay tat i found tat was dead meat..profit warning le... the morning market reopens, it plunge to 0.17. haa, not to be beaten, i averaged it down. another 10 lots.. making total holdings 20 lots , average price 0.215.
I was thinking when it rebound, i would be able to recoup my investment faster..
and there it goes.. few wks later, 0.15.. i was flushed wif cash tat time, and decided to average down again with another 10 lots.. now 30 lots, wif average price of 0.19.
the more eager i am to see the reversal of price.. the more it drop.. till 0.12 .. i finally wake up. cut my first loss, close to 3k.. and yet so disappointed with myself, i picked myself up and with some luck during tat time, i recoup everythg back. :)
it brings back memories reli, to see how i am so lucky with the price of anwell now at 0.04
0.04 manz.. hopefully this company will be liquidated in future..
Ironically if u look at the shareinvestor book, it shows anwell having a super high ROE.
why? it just shows that those companies listing for IPO usually does in their peak! and after tat, its non-performing.. well, there's exceptional cases, but its for u and me to find out.
its reli tough coping with work and studies.. shag ar.... work is now in a complete mess.. haha, but nevertheless i will be able to work around it.
Life is not easy, but its not tough either.

haha, damn, some ppl just step over one another to climb to the peak.
I believe there are still some gracious singaporean among us..
next time i would prefer juggernaut from X-men to board the train.. then bulldozer his way out.. this will teach those ppl in future to practise the minimum courtesy of letting ppl alight first b4 boarding... that would be heavenly coolz.

u know the train is packed to the brim... u know there is no more space. yet miraculously he is able to squeeze onboard. how? by forcing himself on u. they call it close proximity..how close? he can brush his tiny little wick onto ur arse. tats how close it can get. and its not one. the first will touch ur cute little arse, 2nd one will force the 1st to poke in harder, 3rd will follow the chain reaction... this is how good the magician can get.. they call it mass orgy.. lol.. damn!
